Day-wise Itinerary

Day 1 - Guwahati Arrival & Kaziranga Drive

Arrive at Guwahati and set off straight for Kaziranga National Park. Settle into your hotel surrounded by greenery. Spend your evening unwinding and getting ready for close wildlife encounters the next day.

Day 2 - Wildlife Safari, Journey to Shillong

Wake up early for an elephant safari, watching rhinos and deer in their natural home. Later, enjoy a jeep safari in another forest zone. After breakfast and checkout, drive towards Shillong. Pause at Umiam Lake for lovely views and a quick boat ride.

Day 3 - Waterfalls & Valleys, Shillong to Cherrapunjee Scenic Day

After a hearty breakfast, drive towards misty Cherrapunjee. On the way, enjoy grand city views from Shillong Peak and the beauty of Elephant Falls. At Cherrapunjee, be amazed by deep valleys, waterfalls, and ancient caves.

Day 4 - Double Decker Root Bridge Adventure

Start your morning with a trek through thick forests to the famed Double Decker Living Root Bridge. Brave about 3000 steps, cross streams, and breathe in pure jungle air. Fit trekkers can hike further to Rainbow Falls before returning for a restful night.

Day 5 - Clean Village & Clear Waters Mawlynnong and Dawki Explorations

Head to Mawlynnong, celebrated as Asia’s Cleanest Village. Walk through tidy lanes, marvel at the Balancing Rock, and enjoy sweeping views from the Sky Viewpoint. Later, travel to Dawki to gaze into the crystal-clear Umngot River. Return by evening to Shillong.

Day 6 - Laitlum Canyon and Mawphlang Forest

After breakfast, take in the dramatic gorges at Laitlum Canyon. Next, visit the Mawphlang Sacred Forest, where ancient trees and hidden orchids welcome you. Head back to Shillong with photos and stories to share.

Day 7 - Return to Guwahati & Departure

Depart from Shillong to Guwahati, with a stop at Beadon Bishop, A View Point for one last scenic memory. If there’s time, get blessings at Kamakhya Temple before heading to the airport or railway station for your journey home.
