Day-wise Itinerary

Day 1 - Guwahati to Shillong Scenic Drive & Lake Views

Arrive in Guwahati and drive to Shillong, known as the Scotland of the East. Stop at Umiam Lake for beautiful views and optional boating. Check in at your hotel and relax in the evening.

Day 2: Canyon & Sacred Forest

After breakfast, visit Laitlum Canyon for stunning valley views and a short trek. Later, explore Mawphlang Sacred Forest, home to rare orchids and butterflies. Learn about local tribal traditions before returning to Shillong.

Day 3: Shillong to Cherrapunjee Waterfalls & Valley Views

Drive to Cherrapunjee, stopping at Shillong Peak and Elephant Falls. Arrive in Cherrapunjee and visit Mawkdok Valley, Dainthlen Falls, Wei Sawdong Falls, and Mawsmai Cave. Enjoy the scenic evening.

Day 4: Cherrapunjee Waterfalls & Caves Seven Sisters & Eco Park

Explore Cherrapunjee’s famous waterfalls, Seven Sisters, NohKaLikai, and Wah-Kaba. Visit Eco Park, Arwah Cave, and the Garden of Caves. Enjoy a peaceful evening surrounded by nature.

Day 5: Double Decker Root Bridge Trek

Start early for the trek to the Double Decker Living Root Bridge. Walk through dense forest, cross streams, and enjoy the unique bridge. Fit trekkers can hike further to Rainbow Falls. Return to Cherrapunjee by evening.

Day 6: Clean Village & Crystal River Mawlynnong & Dawki

Visit Mawlynnong, Asia’s Cleanest Village, and see the Balancing Rock and Sky Viewpoint. Enjoy a local lunch, then head to Dawki for boating on the crystal-clear Umngot River. Return to Shillong in the evening.

Day 7: Shillong to Guwahati Beadon Bishop & Temple Visit

Check out and drive to Guwahati, stopping at Beadon Bishop View Point. Arrive in Guwahati and visit Kamakhya Temple. Enjoy a sunset cruise on the Brahmaputra River (optional).

Day 8: Departure

After breakfast, check out and head to Guwahati Airport or Railway Station. Take home memories of nature, culture, and adventure from Assam and Meghalaya.
